How it works

Three minutes at each end of the trip

  1. Pickup

    Walk around before you drive

    Twelve zones, from bumpers to wheels to the dash. Mark anything that's already damaged and add a close-up.

  2. Return

    Repeat where you park

    Same zones, same angles, plus odometer and fuel. TripGuard shows which zones still need a photo.

  3. Claim

    Answer with evidence

    Pick the areas in the host's claim. TripGuard compares pickup and return and drafts a reply you can paste into the trip messages.

Originals stay untouched

The file the camera made is kept byte for byte. A captioned copy is made for sharing.

Fingerprints you can check

Each original gets a SHA-256 hash when it's saved. Change one pixel and the hash no longer matches.

Side-by-side compare

Pickup and return photos for each zone, with miles driven, fuel used and any gaps in your evidence.

Private by design

No account and no tracking. Your photos stay on your iPhone until you choose to share them.
